Best tanks to grind resources

There are a few specialized tanks you can get to help you grind in-game resources. The most useful ones are by far the credit grinding tanks, and these are the most abundant in the game.

Best credit grinder

The Löwe is the best credit grinder in the game for a few reasons:

1- Its a tier 8 tank. High numbers in battle bring in the highest earnings, and tier 8 is highest tier with real premium tanks. Tier 9-10 “premiums” are enriched reward tanks and make far less credits.

2- It has a very reliable gun. Accurate, good aim time, good gun handling, great penetration. All of these mean that the Löwe rarely ever has to use premium ammo (using premium ammo decreases credit earning), as its gun is just so reliable and good for consistent damage dealing.

3- Its a strong tank. For its tier it has good capabilities in battle, meaning it can pull out good scores in battle and bring in credits.

4- It has one of the highest credit coefficients in the game, and the 2nd highest in tier 8, 185%. This means that the tank just has the ability to make credits easily without hardly trying, and this is only amplified by the fact it rarely ever needs to use premium ammo.

(Löwe is also the best as its both a strong tank and its easy to play. Even new players can easily grind credits in this tank as it has stats that are new player friendly, but are also not limiting for more experienced players. Many of the tanks mentioned below are not new player friendly, and are more suited to experienced players..)

Best free XP grinder

There is only 1 tank in game which makes increased free XP, and that is the T26E3 Eagle 7.

All tanks in game have 5% of their combat XP turned into free XP. The Eagle 7 has 10% of its combat XP turned into free XP, meaning its able to grind free XP at double the rate of every other tank in the game (expect one).

The Eagle 7 also has a slightly above average credit earning rate. Most tier 7 premium tanks earn 150% credits, the Eagle 7 earns 155%.

That “one” is the Churchill III. While it doesn’t have an increased free XP factor, it does have an overall increased XP earning rate.

The Churchill III has an unknown base XP coefficient which allows it to very easily pull out tier 10 levels of XP in a battle.

This means that its able to grind combat XP, free XP, and crew XP all at an increased rate; and since its a premium, it can also grind some credits alongside.

Best crew XP grinder

The Churchill III is the best crew XP grinder. Not only does it make more crew grinding than any other HT in game (due to its increased base XP coefficient), but it also makes more combat XP.

Combat XP on an elited (and premium) tank doesn’t need to be used for module research, so you are actually able to convert this XP.
It can be converted into free XP using gold.
Or it can be converted into crew XP for free (for credits after level 5), and this further amplifies the Churchill III’s crew skill grinding ability. Not only is it actually grinding higher crew XP, but its also grinding combat XP at an increased rate, which you can then convert to crew XP as well.

Crew XP grinding is only really important for newer accounts with no crew skills. Heavy tank crew skills such as “firefighting”, “adrenaline rush”, and “repairs” are some of the most crucial crew skills in game for keeping your tank alive.

The Churchill III

Clearly the Churchill III is the best tank for any type of XP grinding, since it just makes increased base XP.
Due to this, its also able to have an increased rate for converting combat XP to free XP/crew XP, an increased earning rate for free XP, and an increased earning rate for crew XP.

This increased XP earning rate can also help with XP grinding events, as the Churchill is able to be at tier 5 but still able to very easily earn XP of higher tier tanks. It will count for event progress, as the Churchill’s coefficient is for base XP.

The tank also has a 151% credit coefficient. While its not the best in tier 5, its also definitely not bad.

If you do consider getting this tank, keep in mind whether you’ll actually play tier 5 or continuously be playing this tank.
The Churchill III is by far one of the most useful grinding tools you can get for a new account, but less so for a well-established player.
