Camouflage is a visual element that also gives a slight benefit to your tank’s concealment.
Camo rating is not an important stat on most tanks, due to Blitz having quite small maps, with many tanks having similar view range, and the engagement distance is quite short.
The only tanks which camo rating are quite important on are tank destroyers with a sniper or 2nd line playstyle, and sneaky and more passive light tanks.
Camouflage paint gives:
4% camo rating to tank destroyers
3% camo rating to light & medium tanks
2% camo rating to heavy tanks
Some tanks with a permanent appearance don’t gain a camo rating bonus from using camouflages, the bonus of these tanks is pre-applied as they already have a camouflage.
(Battlepass tanks, M48 Rpz, Dracula, Helsing, Pharaoh, Vindicator & Predator UM, etc.)
Camo sales & types
There are 4 different rarities of camouflages.
Common –
Most of these can be bought with credits. Other ones can be won from “concealment containers” at the bottom of the store page.
Rare –
These can be bought for gold. More exclusive ones come from battlepasses, events, and special crates and bundles in store.
Epic –
These camouflages cannot be bought for gold, they only come from events, crates, and ranks. Epic camouflages either have ambient animations, or have 2 different patterns.
Legendary –
These camouflages are exclusive to the particular tank you selected, most can be bought for gold. These can range from just being 2D, to being animated with 3D elements and special effects.
The price of legendary camouflages varies depending on how “fancy” they are.
Exclusive rare –
These camouflages are rare camouflages but are only available to one tank. Since they are rare, they don’t change the tank’s name in battle.
The difference between exclusive rare camos and legendary camos is that these rare camos cost less gold, and often don’t have special markings, just a special pattern.

ISU-130, WZ-111, Type 59, AMX 49, and FV201 (A45) all have exclusive rare camouflages.
