The tank loadout (how you change your base stats and strengths in garage) has been changed due to some features being changed.
Below is both an analysis of the actual feeling & effect on gameplay, but also the technical numbers and stats that have changed.
Note that MANY THINGS ARE STILL IN DEVELOPMENT, so you may encounter are buggy or incorrect things which are still being developed and worked on.
Actual feel of changes
Sections below this have the full details of what’s changed, but its important to look at the overall feel of gameplay and not just the stats.
-All tanks feel faster:
They accelerate faster and are able to use their top speed much easier. This is caused by the physics changes which give your tanks a better acceleration rate along uneven terrain compared to before. If you account for buffed equipment, then the tanks accelerate even faster.
(Note: They may not look faster, but this is just due to the game engine, physics, and map graphics changing. Especially map graphics, as much more area is shown on your screen and outside of map boundaries. The perspective changes.)
-All tanks traverse and turn slower:
This is definitely noticeable and its caused by the 7% loss of the traverse crew skill. Using Improved Control equipment really helps and makes the tank feel almost the same as before due to adding traverse speed, but also due to the base mobility of your tank being better.
If you use Anthony Cole as commander (for MT only) then your tank’s mobility will feel better than previously.
-All tanks aim slightly faster:
Unknown why this is the case, could be caused by the new engine & physics, but multiple equipment pieces have been changed to give more crew mastery (thus better aim time), and Vertical Stabilizer has been reverted back to give 15% gun handling.
Technically all tanks have worse on-move gun handling due to removal of crew skills, but this isn’t noticeable due to this aim time (which is very noticeable on quite a few tanks). Captain (MT Commander) does give 30% improved gun handling for MT.
-All tanks reload slightly faster:
This doesn’t account for Duncan’s (universal Commander) skill. Gun Rammer has been reverted back to 7%, but also due to other equipment pieces now giving crew mastery.
If you do account for Duncan’s skill, all tanks have much faster reload, however it is balanced out by the fact Duncan can be used on every tank.
-All tanks have much worse module protection, slower repair speed, & slower fire-fighting:
Due to removal of crew skills related to these, and Protective Kit no longer improving ammo rack & fuel tank module HP, and Toolbox being replaced by Protective Kit in Equipment.
To be exact: firefighting is 42% slower, repair speed is 38-48% slower, and there’s now no way to protect yourself from ammorack & fuel tank damage.
-All tanks have worse camo rating:
Due to the removal of crew skills, all tanks have 21% worse camo rating by default. Its much easier to get spotted by enemies, but also much easier for you to spot them.
If you account for Lisa’s (TD Commander) skill, then TDs can have 30% camo rating, 9% more than previously. Currently there are no commanders for other tank classes that give camo rating.
Provisions Compensation
The below charts compare ONLY REGULAR PROVSIONS, as they apply to all tanks.
Sandbag Armour & Gear Oil aren’t considered below as only a few tanks could use them.
Due to that, view the tanks that lost them as getting a direct nerf (but some of them got buffed in different ways such as consumables, and could get rebalanced later).
| What stats are removed: | Provision name: | Amount lost: |
| Crew Mastery | 10% & 3% food | 6.5% in raw stats (13% mastery) |
| Mobility | 10% Fuel | 10% mobility for most setups |
| Module & Crew protection | Protective Kit | 15% Crew protection 10% Repair speed 20% Fire protection 10% Ammorack & Fuel tank HP |
How is it compensated?
| Compensation for stats in: | Compensated by: | Amount: |
| Crew Mastery | Buffed equipment | 5% in raw stats (10% mastery) |
| Mobility | Buffed equipment | 17% mobility |
| Module & Crew Protection | Changed equipment | 15% Crew protection 10% Repair speed 20% Fire protection 0% Ammorack & Fuel tank HP |
Commander skills & perks

Full details of commanders are covered HERE, below is a brief version.
Commanders have 2 perks/skills. They are NOT intended to give full compensation of crew skills. They are supposed to be more powerful but specialized in certain aspects, so you can choose what traits your tank is good at, but they don’t cover as many areas as Crew Skills did.
Note that all Commander stats could be changed in future and are not final!
