The “Fearless” versions of tanks are all rating battle reward tanks. Currently there are 3 tanks, and they get replaced every 16-18 months.
(Not to be confused with the T-62A’s legendary camouflage, Fearless tanks are fully separate tanks)
IS-6 Fearless
IS-6 Fearless was the first ever Rating reward tank, It was made a Rating reward in April 2020, and remained the reward until the end of September 2021 (16 months).
As the IS-6 Fearless is statistically identical to the IS-6, there is no dedicated review for it. Check out the IS-6 review here.
History in game:
-Originally awarded to only the top 10 players on each server for winning the Supremacy Tournaments from late 2014 to early 2015.
-Accidentally released for sale in the original gift store (2017) instead of the IS-6. It costed 7,600 gold, some players gifted the tank to themselves to obtain it.
WG removed the tank, and compensated players who bought it with 7,600 gold.
WG then decided to give the tank back, because previously they made a mistake with the Ke-Ni Otsu and let those players keep it.
Players who got the tank through this method were basically gifted a free IS-6 Fearless, as the gold stayed on their accounts
-Came back in 2020 as the reward for Rating battles. A new attachment was added to the tank as part of its permanent appearance.
-Sold for 20,000 season coins in July 2023
Lorraine Fearless
Lorraine Fearless was the Rating reward tank for October 2021 to June 2023 (20 months).
There are very minor statistical differences in the Lorraine Fearless compared to the Lorraine 40t.
The Fearless version has a 2.31s intra-clip reload instead of 2.5s
It has 2009 DPM instead of 1967 DPM.
It has a factor of 0.12 dispersion on turret traverse, instead of 0.10.
It has a maximum view range of 308.1m instead of 296.3m.
All of these differences are very minor, and have no affect on the gameplay of the Lorraine Fearless. It plays identically to the Lorraine 40t, but is slightly more comfortable for spotting and unloading damage, though a slight bit less accurate. For this reason, the Lorraine 40t review can be applied to the Lorraine Fearless.
The Fearless version is definitely a better tank, but only by a small amount.
It trades a very small dispersion factor for a fairly significant view range boost and intra-clip reduction, which is an overall gain for the stats.
T49 Fearless
T49 Fearless is the upcoming Rating reward tank for June 2023.

There are minor statistical differences between the tech tree T49 and the T49 Fearless.
The T49 Fearless does make premium credits.
It has higher DPM, and a 0.84s quicker reload
It has worse aim time
Mobility is overall slightly worse, slower acceleration, lower top speed, and slower hull turn rate.
Same as with the other tanks, these differences have no effect on the gameplay of these 2 tanks, and they play in the exact same way.
The tech tree T49 is a more reliable tank due to its better aim time and mobility, however if you can mitigate that, then the better reload of the Fearless would make it a better tank.
How to obtain
Fearless tanks are obtainable through parts of a certificate. You earn these parts by participating in rating battles each month. 100 parts are needed to obtain the tank, parts cannot be purchased.
For 1 month Rating periods:
0 parts are given if you don’t place in Diamond league (5k rating points) at the end of the month.
5 parts for being in Diamond league at the end of the month.
15 parts for being 151-200th place (EU), or 41-50th place (ASIA &NA)
20 parts for being 101-150th place (EU). 25 parts for being 31-40th place (ASIA & NA)
30 parts for being 26-100th place (EU), or 21-30th (ASIA & NA)
40 parts for being 6-25th place (EU), or 6-20th place (ASIA & NA)
100 parts for being top 5 on your server.
ASIA and NA requirements are different, as EU has more active players than both ASIA and NA combined. It would be too easy to earn parts on the ASIA and NA servers if they had the same requirements as EU.
