What is Gravitizing mode?

Gravitizing is the gamemodes “Uprising” and “gravity Force” combined together into one mode.

The general premise of the game is exactly what it seems like: Uprising abilities and respawns, in a setting with low gravity.

As with these modes, the abilities of Uprising are all applied to the same tanks, and the choice of abilities remains the same. All players get 3 lives (2 respawns) and have to gain points in battle to choose their abilities on their next death.
As with the “Gravity Force” mode, all tanks have increased speed and acceleration rate. Gravity is low, so its easy to be launched into the air when jumping, getting hit, or shooting a shot.

Differences:
-The Thruster/Booster ability (which launches your tank into the air) is removed and not present in this mode.
-“Blood Trail” ability has had the damage effect halved
-Inferno now has a blast radius which causes it to throw vehicles back from the explosion
-“Shadow” (invisibility + speed) and “Supernatural Power” I & II have had both top speed and engine power reductions.
-“Doubleshot” has had its intra-shot time reduced (made faster).
-Bonus to tank speed at the beginning of the battle has been removed, however invisibility remains.

How to play?

If you’ve played Mad Games, Burning Games, or Uprising before, Gravitizing is fairly similar, just with the added effect of low gravity.

The most important thing is to not care about trying to win, this is a fun mode, so you should try to enjoy the most fun aspects of it.
By trying too hard and focussing on winning or damage, fun modes can be more frustrating or annoying than the regular mode, due to inconsistency and randomness, so its best to not focus on that.

Of course, the whole objective is to deal damage, avoid getting hit, and use the low gravity and increased mobility to your advantage; but don’t be so bent on doing it that it ruins your enjoyment of the mode.

Some specific gameplay advice is for playing against tanks with the “Blood Trail” ability:

  • Try to focus these tanks down, they are detrimental to your team and to you, as they can very easily wipe out the full health of you or an allied tank.
This isn’t down to you or your allied tank being a bad player, but its just bad game design by WG, as its essentially the environment that kills your tank.
  • If targeted by “Blood Trail”, take note of your situation. If you are out in the open, but you have enough HP to get into cover, do it.
Losing some HP by driving into cover is FAR better than being shot by an enemy, and then dying due to low gravity physics flinging your tank across the map at a high speed.
  • If on low HP and targeted by “Blood Trail” unfortunately there isn’t anything you can do, other than hope no one shoots you for 10s. You shouldn’t drive into cover, as every 10m you drive will take away 10% of your HP, in most cases where you are low HP, driving is what gets you killed, and this is what the enemy is hoping you do.

Blood trail issue:

The ability “Blood Trail” is unbelievably broken. WG has made it so that any movement will count towards damage taken, so due to low gravity, and every hit you take launching you back, its very easy for tanks to lose all their HP in a single “Blood Trail” targeting.

Its mentioned above what you can do to try and mitigate this happening to you.

Best tanks and abilities

Finding the best tanks in this mode is easy, you just have to understand what makes a tank weak or strong in both the Uprising and Gravity gamemodes.

1- Note what makes a tank vulnerable in this gamemode, the biggest enemy of any player is an enemy tank using “Blood Trail”.
2- What counters this is not moving, but due to low gravity this is very hard, some tanks get launched into the air just by shooting their own guns.
3- Using a heavy weighted tank counters unexpected flying and launching, as its countered by your tank’s mass.
4- Similarly, a large caliber shell has the highest impact for launching a tank, even if not penetrating.
5- “Blood Trail” is the most powerful ability in this gamemode.

With this, the strongest tanks are:
Heavy-weight tanks, with big caliber guns, with the “Blood Trail” ability. Good armour also helps, as it lets you survive longer.

Tanks like the Jg. E 100, T110E4, FV217 Badger, SMV CC 64, Jadgtiger 8,8, Ho Ri II, T30, etc

Other strong tanks are superheavies, due to their big guns and amazing ramming potential:

Tanks such as the Maus, Mauschen, E 100, VK 72.01 (K), KV-4, KV-5, VK 168.01 (P), VK 100.01 (P), Gravedigger, or T28 HTC.

Promotional order

To get you to play this mode, WG has put in a promotional order to play 20 battles in the Gravitizing mode.

(Only players who have researched a tier IV or higher tank can receive this order)

Total rewards from this order are 390 kitcoins and an avatar.
