Dispersion-on-Movement

Quick summary

Dispersion-on-Move is also called Gun Handling.

This is additional Dispersion that is added on to your Dispersion at 100m every time you move the tank. Since it is added on, the smaller the number the better the handling.

Dispersion-on-Move will come into effect when you move; this includes when you go forward/in reverse, when you turn the hull, and when you turn the turret.

In game this is what makes your aiming circle/reticle bloom out and become larger.

Below is a rough guide of what is considered good/bad Gun Handling.
Note that this can vary depending on tier and tank type. Usually tanks at tier X will have better than average Gun Handling (as tier X is the highest tier).

Average Gun Handling would generally be:
Heavy tanks: 0.19/0/19/0.14 to 0.22/0.22/0.14
Medium tanks: 0.13/0.13/0.1 to 0.18/0.18/0.12
Light tanks: 0.1/0.1/0.08 to 0.12/0.12/0.1
Tank Destroyers: 0.18/0.18/0.12 to 0.22/0.22/0.14*

*TDs are the most varied for Gun Handling, some can have amazing handling (Such as ISU-130 with 0.12/0.12/0.1), and others can be completely terrible (such as T28 with 0.28/0.28/0.12).

As this is a “hidden stat”, it won’t show up in game, you can check your tank’s Dispersion-on-Move stats with website like BlitzHangar, BlitzStars, and GameModels3D.

Gun handling can be improved by using Vertical Stabilizer Equipment and/or upgrading tracks (tech tree tanks only).
