What is this?
These are mobility tests.
Since mobility is an important factor of a tank, and its comprised of so many different factors within itself, its quite hard to calculate “how is this tank’s mobility, how does it compare to other tanks?”
So that is what this is, each tank taken around a certain circuit on different maps.
Each circuit tests acceleration, traverse, engine strength, and top speed. Each circuit has a different length and therefore the time/length context is exclusive to that test only.
Currently only heavy tanks are shown, as they are the ones which usually don’t have the best mobility, a fast heavy tank is usually quite a big deal, and so mobility on heavy tanks is more important to be gauged than other classes. Also no tier 1-6 tanks are shown as it takes time to record the speeds of all the tanks.
Some tanks will have different equipment/provision setups, they are not all the same.
This is to simulate what an “ideal” mobility set up would be, as not every tank has the same weaknesses or strengths in mobility, and some are just average in all areas.
