Drag slider right -> to view 185mm AP
Drag slider <- left to view 240mm APCR
Armour when faced flat and head-on:
Upper plate 160-170mm
Lower plate 140mm
Turret 120-300mm

The T-44-100 can sidescrape, it has 75mm of base side armour, and an extra 6mm from the sideskirts.
If you angle more than 70 degrees, enemy tanks will be able to easily penetrate, so only angle up to 70 degrees and no more.
VS tier 7:
Tier 7 tanks may bounce off the turret, but there are still a few small spots that can be penetrated.
The hull will only bounce very low penetration tanks, and that’s when its angled. When un-angled, even the lowest penetration enemies can go through the hull.
VS tier 8:
Most tier 8 tanks will be able to easily go through the turret face, and the only bounces it will get are from the turret cheeks or the gun mantlet.
The gun mantlet is only 120mm thick, so its still easily penetrated by shots that hit flush.
The hull has no armour and will not bounce enemy shots, only if sidescraping (mentioned above).
VS tier 9:
As with tier 8, only the turret cheeks will produce bounces. If you get shot anywhere else, you get penetrated.
Gun
The T-44-100 has a 100mm gun
-Reload time is 7.6s for 280 alpha, giving it 2217 DPM.
-Penetration is quite low, 180mm on AP, 237mm on APCR, and 50mm on HE.
-Aim time is 3.7/4.0s, which is decent
-Dispersion is 0.317/0.285
-Gun handling is 0.12/0.12/0.08, or 0.1/0.11/0.07 with Vertical Stabilizer.
-Gun depression is -5 degrees, which is poor.
The T-44-100’s gun feels very comfortable. Other than its poor gun depression and low penetration, its very accurate, and consistently hits its shots and puts out a good amount of DPM with good alpha.
For its style of gameplay this gun is very good.
Mobility
-Top speed is decent, 51km/h forwards, and -20km/h in reverse
-Acceleration rate is 19.2 hp/t on hard terrain, and 16 hp/t on medium terrain.
-Traverse speed is 69.3 deg/s on hard terrain, and 57.8 deg/s on medium terrain.
–Terrain resistances are decent, with 1/1.2/1.5
The mobility of the T-44-100 isn’t the most impressive, but its definitely good enough. Given its high traverse speed and decent engine power, its able to be very agile and relocate easily.
Equipment, provisions, & consumables
T-44-100 has no special consumables or provisions.
Gun Rammer:
The penetration of the T-44-100 is not high, but its definitely still usable, especially with such good accuracy. Play the tank with gun rammer first, but if you feel it needs calibrated shells, its not a bad option on this tank either.
Improved Assembly:
There isn’t any armour on this tank to really need enhancing, so use improved assembly. Improved assembly makes the HP from 1350 up to 1431.
Vertical Stabilizer:
Vertical stabilizer and refined gun can both work in this tank, since it has a support medium playstyle.
Vertical stabilizer is good for a more active playstyle, supporting allies on frontline, constantly moving, flanking enemies.
Refined gun is better for staying behind allies to provide support, rather than being directly next to them on the front line. Its also better for if you flank enemies and shoot from the other side of the map, since the aim circle will be smaller and more accurate.
This choice will be down to the player’s desired playstyle.
Gameplay advice
The T-44-100 is a support medium tank.
This means its better played passively, and the role is mainly to support allies, rather than you yourself being on the frontline, brawling, or leading a push.
The lack of armour means that its easily penetrated, and the fairly low HP means that it can’t take too many hits. Staying out of sight will greatly increase the battle lifespan of the T-44-100, since it can be taken out quite quickly.
If you have to expose your self, try to keep most of the tank hidden and show only the turret. The turret has well angled cheek armour, and if you move back and fourth, theres a high chance that enemies will bounce off the cheeks.
Though the penetration may be low, its made up for with accuracy. If you can’t penetrate a tank even with APCR (like a Tiger II), your accuracy will be good enough to easily hit the hatches or hull weakpoints (in Tiger II’s case its the hull machine gun).
Don’t be afraid to snipe in this tank if you need to. The T-44-100 isn’t strong enough to hold a line on its own, even if your team think’s that a medium should not snipe, sometimes you have to retreat and take a position behind a bush.
Usually you will need to do this if you are the only medium tank on the team, or your allies on the same flank have died and you have to retreat.
Don’t start off your battles by sniping though, this is wrong. Take a 2nd line position (behind allies, or further back from the frontline, but not at the very back where the TDs are). If you cant provide cover fire for allies from where you are, relocate to where you can support your team.
Overall
Overall the T-44-100 is a decent tank. It can perform its medium/support role quite well, and overall its statistics are decent.
However, its stats are just worse than the tech tree T-44, so there is not much point to playing the T-44-100 other than the fact it earns credits..
Is it worth getting?
The T-44-100 is a decent tank, but it won’t be the easiest to play with its poor gun depression and lack of armour. Players who will appreciate this tank are players who like accurate tanks with decent mobility, but can deal with low penetration, poor gun depression, and lacking armour.
Since the T-44 in the tech tree can do what this tank does (but better), there’s no reason to play T-44-100 unless you just want to grind credits.
The T-44-100 is worth 4,500 gold. The tank is not the best but it can still work, at the end of the day if you just need something that makes credits, this will do. Often it is sold for 4,000 gold, which is an amazing price if you are in desperate need of a super cheap tier 8 tank for credit grinding.
