Armour
(The E 25 in the images is using Improved Assembly)

vs 160mm AP
When flat and facing head-on:
Upper plate 80mm
Lower plate 100mm
Gun mantlet 130-170mm
Cupola 35mm
VS tier all 6-8 tanks:
The E 25 has no armour at all to tier 6-8 enemies, the only area that might get bounces is the gun mantlet. The rest of the front is easily penetrated by AP but not HE, the sides can be penetrated by 40mm+ of HE penetration, and the cupola is penetrable from all angles by about 35mm penetration.
Gun
The E 25 mounts an 7,5 cm gun
-Alpha damage is 160 on APCR, 135 on HEAT, and 200 on HE
-It has a 3.2s reload, giving it 3000 DPM
-Penetration on APCR is 175mm, HEAT is 250mm, and HE is 20mm.
-Aim time is 2.5/2.7s
-Dispersion is 0.272/0.244
–Gun handling is 0.15/0.15/0.08, or 0.13/0.13/0.07 with Vertical Stabilizer.
-Gun depression is -8 degrees
This is a very nice gun, but its quite awkward to have on a paper TD. Due to its low alpha and high rate of fire, it encourages a more active gameplays style from the tank, as you require your targets to be exposed for longer periods to deal damage.
The gun has great DPM, with amazing accuracy, handling, aim time, and good penetration. The gun depression is extremely good, considering how the tank is almost hugging the ground with how low profile it is.
The only real downside is its alpha damage, which causes this tank to be quite hard to grasp the gameplay of.
Mobility
-Top speed is 65km/h forwards, and -20km/h in reverse
-Traverse speed is 60.8 deg/s on hard terrain, and 56.2 deg/s on medium terrain.
-In game acceleration rate is shown as 31.1 hp/t, it has a very strong 819 horsepower engine for its 26 ton weight.
-Actual acceleration rate is 26 hp/t on hard terrain, and 24 hp/t on medium terrain.
–Terrain resistances are not the best, having 1.2/1.3/1.8
The mobility of the E 25 is very impressive, its one of the quickest TDs in the whole game. Its acceleration is good, with amazing top speeds and traverse speed. Overall a perfect mobility profile for such a small and lightly armoured tank.
Equipment, provisions, & consumables
The E 25 does not have any special provisions or consumables.
Gun Rammer:
The E 25 is a TD with an emphasis on its DPM and reload time, its best to use a gun rammer. The tank also already has great penetration, especially on its HEAT ammunition.
Gun rammer is what gives this tank its 3.2s reload and 3000 DPM.
Camouflage Net:
E 25 has the 3rd highest camouflage rating in the game, and it has a sniping TD style of gameplay, so it gains a huge advantage by using the camo net.
With level 7 camouflage crew skill, camouflage installed, and camo net, the E 25 reaches 83% camouflage when stationary, 58% when moving, and 29% after a shot.
Improved Assembly:
The E 25 has no armour, so it doesn’t benefit from enhancing it.
Use improved assembly instead, it takes the HP of the tank from 1000 up to 1060.
Vertical Stabilizer:
The E 25 already has the best accuracy in game (0.272), so it definitely does not need to use refined gun. The tank plays as quite an active tank, both in the sniper role and in the support role, so it does benefit a lot from the vertical stabilizer.
The E 25 is constantly having to turn its hull, as it is a turretless TD, and it turns fast, making the bloom of gun handling quite significant. Its best to use the vertical stabilizer, as it reduces this bloom when turning and moving the tank.
Gameplay advice
The E 25 has quite an awkward playstyle. While it can play in the role of a sniper TD, that’s not the role that suits it best. The E 25 is best suited to a support/flanking role.
The tank should be played almost like a medium or light tank, but place more importance on using camo rating and staying out of sight. It needs to use camo rating and bushes to its advantage, but its gun and mobility also allow it to flank enemies and surprise like a medium or light would.
Flank enemies:
The E 25 is very quick, very small, fast, and sneaky, its the perfect tank to pull off flanking plays. Always try and look out for isolated enemies, or opportunities to get around enemies in a stalemate.
Be aware of where enemies are once you flank. If you notice multiple (or even just 1 very healthy and high DPM enemy) enemy tanks coming to counter your flank, just use the mobility to run away. The E 25 cannot hold its own in a fight as it just has such low HP and little armour. Even if enemies have less DPM than the E 25, they are still likely to win the fight purely due to higher HP.
Use bushes whenever possible:
The tank starts out the battle as a sniper, it should never go to the frontline or flank enemies as soon as the battle starts. Find a bush to ambush enemies early, and then once that position is not giving you any more damage, use the mobility of the tank to relocate to either another sniping location with a bush, or go and support one of the allied flanks.
Use the low profile:
Its best to not facehug enemy tanks, as the front is where most tanks have the most gun depression, however, this low profile is very useful against the rears of all enemy vehicles. As very few tanks have good gun depression over the back of their tanks, you can just hug the tank’s rear.
You are able to facehug and sidehug taller enemies (such as superheavies), but you have to really be quite sure they can’t hit your cupola (tallest point of the tank). If they can, then your tank is basically as good as dead, as its unlikely your high DPM/low HP combination will outlast their higher HP/lesser DPM.
Overall
Overall the E 25 is a very unique tank but has quite an awkward playstyle. It has a great gun with amazing accuracy and DPM, great mobility with good stats in all aspects, but very poor armour and low HP.
Is it worth getting?
The E25 is only worth getting if you really like the look of its stats and what the tank offers. The tank is a very niche vehicle in terms of playstyle, and its also not the strongest of tier 7 tanks. If you’re just looking for the DPM and high camo combination, you can get it with the 7,5cm gun of the Jg. Pz IV, which has better DPM with also good accuracy.
Its a fun and unique tank and is definitely worth it if you do like what it offers, however if you are unsure of it, then just don’t buy the tank.
The E 25 is worth 3,000 gold. Its a fun and unique tank, but its not the strongest of tanks, and its quite hard to play. The tank can do very well sometimes, but its quite awkward to have a gun that requires time-on-target, yet have not armour and low HP to allow for that time on target.
