When flat and facing head-on:
Upper plate 370-390mm
Lower plate 285mm

Turret face 270mm
Turret cheeks 540mm+ (auto-ricochet)
Turret roof 310mm (auto-ricochet)
Gun mantlet 520mm+
Cupola 180-200mm

Side armour:
The E 75 Berserker has 125mm of side armour both above and behind the tracks. The tracks themselves are 40mm thick.

vs 252mm AP (top image), 330mm HEAT (bottom image)
Using -7 gun depression:

Upper plate 490mm
Turret face 280mm
Turret cheeks 620mm+ (auto-ricochet)
Turret roof 700mm (auto-ricochet)
Gun mantlet 520mm+
Cupola 205-215mm

Armour vs tier 8:
Facing tier 8 enemies, the E 75 Berserker’s armour is extremely strong. Most enemies won’t be able to penetrate the lower plate with standard ammo, and will need premium ammo to go through.

The upper plate is impenetrable to all enemies, and the turret face will bounce all ammo except the highest penetration premium ammo (such as from TDs, or tanks like T34 or Tiger II).

The cupola is a small weakpoint it is a reliable penetration for most tanks.

Armour vs tier 9-10:
Facing tier 9-10 enemies, the armour is still very solid. The lower plate will be penetrable to most enemies if its not angled, but angling it will make it strong enough to bounce standard ammo from many tanks.

The upper plate is still strong enough to bounce all enemies easily, though the turret cheeks will be easily penetrated by most premium ammo in tier 9 & 10.

The turret roof will only be penetrable to HEAT ammo due to its angle, and for HEAT to penetrate it reliably, the penetration would need to be 320-330mm.

Gun

The E 75 Berserker mounts a 12,8cm gun.

-Alpha damage is 480 on AP, 410 on APCR, and 630 on HE
-It has an 10.9s reload, giving it 2631 DPM.
-Penetration on AP is 250mm, APCR is 311mm, and HE is 66mm.
Estimated aim time is 4.6/5.0s
Base aim time is 3.0s, but it can get down to 2.44s.
-Dispersion is 0.371/0.334
Gun handling is 0.18/0.18/0.16, or 0.15/0.15/0.14 with Vertical Stabilizer.
-Gun depression is -7 degrees.

Overall this is a good gun. Its aim time is quite poor, and accuracy isn’t impressive, however its partially compensated by the good gun handling. Penetration is quite average, and -7 gun depression is decent enough for its armour use. The most impressive trait is the combination of a great 480 alpha damage with good reload and great DPM.

Compared to other tanks with similar alpha damage (440-470), nearly all of those tanks have less than 2.3k DPM; so the E 75 Berserker with 480 alpha and 2.6k really stands out as having great DPM for its damage.

Mobility

-Top speed is 40km/h forwards, and -15km/h in reverse.
-Traverse speed is 34.3 deg/s on hard terrain, and 26.4 deg/s on medium terrain.
-In game acceleration rate is shown as 11.8 hp/t, it has a strong 1076 horsepower engine for its 91 ton weight.
-Actual acceleration rate is 11.8 hp/t on hard terrain, and 9.1 hp/t on medium terrain.
Terrain resistances are 1/1.3/1.8

On hard terrain, the mobility of this tank is pretty good for a superheavy, it has decent acceleration and fairly average traverse speed. On medium terrain the mobility is noticeably worse due to the terrain resistance difference, and it feels more like the mobility of a proper superheavy (sluggish and struggles to accelerate).

Equipment, provisions, & consumables

The E 75 Berserker has no special consumables or provisions.

Gun Rammer:
Due to the E 75 Berserker having good penetration on all of its ammo, not having any HEAT or special HE ammo, and due to the main selling trait of this tank being its DPM & good reload, don’t use calibrated shells.

Use the gun rammer to improve the good DPM of the tank and take advantage of its strength in DPM. This is what gives it a big advantage when brawling enemies and trading damage. Gun rammer would improve reload time by 7%, from 11.8s to 10.9s, and increase DPM from 2447 to 2631.

Enhanced Armour:
Due to the E 75 having a good lower plate, using enhanced armour is very beneficial to the tank. The improved thickness will allow you to bounce tier 8 enemies very easily, and make it easier to angle the hull against tier 9-10 enemies.

Enhanced armour is also useful for improving the flat turret front to be harder for lower penetration enemies to go through. Even 1 extra shot bounced, or forcing enemies to use premium ammo over standard ammo, is worth much more than the HP from improved assembly.

Enhanced armour improves:
Upper plate from 370mm to 385mm.
Lower plate from 285mm to 296mm.
Turret face from 270mm to 281mm.
Turret roof from 310mm to 323mm.

Vertical Stabilizer:
Due to the slow aim time of the tank, and the brawling/frontline nature of the E 75, vertical stabilizer benefits the tank much more than refined gun.

The dispersion of 0.371 isn’t the best, but for 480 alpha it is adequate, and the tank generally doesn’t feel to inaccurate in battles. What is very noticeable is the slow aim time, often making it easy to miss shots when you stop after moving. Vertical stabilizer helps the tank to retain its accuracy when moving, and hence aim in faster after it stops moving (very useful for brawling heavy tanks like the E 75).

Gameplay advice

The E 75 Berserker is plays in the same way as the E 75, its a frontline, brawling heavy tank that excels in sidescraping & going hulldown.

The gameplay of this tank should feel very comfortable to any heavy tank player.

General gameplay:
Due to its sluggish mobility, E 75 Berserker should be taken to the heavy tank side of the map. The strong armour, good angles, and high alpha damage make it perfectly suited to fighting heavy tanks.

Use the good top speed of the tank to take and hold frontal positions. Use hulldown and sidescraping positions to hide the lower plate, and be wary of what tier of enemies you face. Tier 8 enemies can’t penetrate your turret with premium ammo, tier 9-10 heavies can. If you don’t have cover, try to always keep the hull angled to increase the lower plate’s thickness.

Take time to fully aim if you can, the slow aim time means you often have to sit still, and snapping the shot often will result in a miss or bounce.

Try to keep on hard terrain where possible, it makes a significant difference for the mobility, especially for the quite sluggish acceleration of the tank.

Trading damage:
Due to the E 75 Berserker having 480 alpha damage, you can trade in alpha damage with nearly every tank you face. The only exceptions are tanks such as 116 F3, Minotauro, Kpz 70, or tier 10 heavies with 600+ alpha.

Trading with alpha means you only trade shot-for-shot, this is best used against enemies with faster reload time and lower alpha damage. Since you have 480 alpha damage, trading shot-for shot ensures that enemies will always do less damage to you than you do to them.

Against a few tanks, you can trade in DPM. This is where you know you reload faster than the enemy tank, so you try to shoot them twice for every one time they shoot you.
Since the E 75 Berserker has a 10.95s reload, you can trade in DPM against tanks such as IS-5, IS-3, E 75 (tech tree), WZ-114, 50TP, etc. These tanks all have an 12-13s reload, ensuring they can’t reload faster than you.

Keep to hard terrain:
Since the E 75 Berserker has 1.0 hard terrain resistance and 1.3 medium terrain resistance, its loss of mobility when going off road is noticeable.

Stay on hard terrain (roads, concrete, paved areas), this is where the E 75 Berserker has a chance to utilize its good 40km top speed. It doesn’t accelerate or traverse impressively for a heavy tank, but its still good mobility for how much armour this tank has.

By going off-road (medium terrain), you lose 2.7hp/t of effective acceleration, and 7.9 degrees/s of hull traverse speed, making the tank much less mobile. On medium terrain the E 75 Berserker’s mobility feels much more like a real superheavy tank.

Angle the hull:
Due to the strong & uniform side armour, and its well-angled lower plate, the E 75 benefits greatly from angling its hull armour.

With enhanced armour on, its lower plate is 285mm thick, this is a very high thickness, and it means that any tank with less than 290mm HEAT penetration can’t penetrate the lower plate, even when not angled.

However, if you account for the normalization of AP shells the 285mm armour reduces to 250mm effective armour. 250mm is roughly the standard penetration of tier 9-10 heavy tanks, and tier 8 TDs, meaning these tanks can penetrate the lower plate of a non-angled E 75.

Angling the lower plate corrctectly can increase its effective armour to 275mm when facing against AP, or 320mm when facing against HEAT or HE (which have no normalization).

See the effectiveness of angling the hull in the below image. This is shown facing 252mm AP penetration.

Aim the gun:
If you want to hit a shot, make sure to aim as long as you can. If you must make an important shot during the battle (kill shot, or game-changing shot), don’t rush it.

One of the biggest trade-offs that this tank makes to gain alpha damage & DPM is to its gun stats. Its base aim time is 3.0s, the worst out of any tier 9 heavy tank (except the Obj.752); and its dispersion is 0.371, making it the least accurate heavy tank in all of tier 9.

While the good on-move gun handling definitely helps to balance this out, the tank does still derp and miss some easy shots when its rushed, so don’t risk rushing shots if you can.

Overall gameplay of the  E 75 Berserker is just like the E 75, as its mobility is very similar, armour is the same, and the way it uses its gun is very similar. The tank works best when brawling with other heavy tanks, but the 480 alpha damage lets you trade much more effectively then the regular E 75.

Tank gameplay:

has great alpha damage, DPM, & reload time. Gun handling is good, penetration is average, aim time & dispersion are mediocre. Gun depression is -7 degrees.
Mobility is mediocre, with decent acceleration & traverse speed on hard terrains, but sluggish acceleration & traverse on medium terrain. Reverse speed is average at -15km/h.
Speed is good at 40km/h.

Is it worth getting?

The E 75 Berserker is worth getting (if you can). This tank was released as the 3rd clan event reward tank in Spring 2024 on the Lesta server, whether it will come back is unknown.

This is a very good and strong tank due to its consistent and solid armour, its decent level of speed and mobility, and the great level of firepower that the tank has.

The E 75 Berserker is worth 16,000 gold. If you take one of the most solid tier 9 heavy tanks, give it much better DPM & alpha damage in trade for some accuracy and HP, you end up with a very strong heavy tank, which is exactly what the Berserker is.

E 75 Berserker’s camouflage is permanent and cannot be adjusted.

Differences to E 75:

NOTE: Lesta did not have a tier 9 rebalance (update 10.6), so the E 75 in the tech tree still has its “old” stats.
