Armour when facing head on:
Upper plate 395mm
Lower plate 205mm
Turret cheeks 410-440mm
Weakpoint next to gun 300mm
Gun mantlet 400mm
Cupola 225mm
Side armour:
The side armour of this tank is 150mm behind the tracks, 120mm above the tracks, and 180mm on the turret side.
Overall the side armour is very good and can easily allow over-angling the hull, and makes the turret quite hard to HESH on the side.

Using -8 gun depression:
Armour vs all tier 9-10 tanks:
The Felice’s armour is quite simple for how it works, as the upper plate and turret are mostly too strong for any ammo to penetrate, meanwhile the lower plate and cupola are weak to almost all ammo.
Strong areas:
-The entire turret front and upper plate are impenetrable to all tanks. The only exceptions would be tier 10 TDs, using premium ammo, with calibrated shells.
Main weakpoints:
-The cupola is large, and penetrable to nearly all tanks you face. Only low penetration tier 9s may struggle to go through. Most HESH shells will struggle to penetrate.
-The lower plate is large and easily penetrable to any enemy. Some HESH shells can penetrate if on flat ground.
-Directly next to the gun mantlet are 2 narrow weakpoints, these are easily penetrable to HT premium ammo, but MT/LT will struggle if not using calibrated shells.
Gun
Felice mounts a 127mm gun.
Firepower:
-Ammo: AP/HEAT/HE.
-Penetration: 247/317/67mm.
-Alpha damage: 440/370/550
-Shell 1: 17.20s
-Shell 2: 10.86s (+4.50s)
-Shell 3: 9.05s (+4.50s)
-Shell 4: 7.24s (+4.50s)
-Reload time from empty: 44.35s
-Intra-clip reload: 4.50s
-Magazine potential: 1760
Best DPM:
-Shell 4
-Reload: 7.24+4.5s = 11.74s
-DPM: 2249
Handling:
–Estimated aim time is 4.4/4.7
–Base aim time is 2.8s, but it can get down to 2.16s.
-Dispersion is 0.353/0.300
–Gun handling is 0.2/0.23/0.14, or 0.18/0.2/0.12 with Vertical Stabilizer.
Usability:
-Shell velocities are 750/600/600 m/s.
-Gun depression is -8 degrees around the entire tank, except the rear where its -3.5.
Overall this gun is decent. What it lacks in overall stats, it makes up for with pure firepower and damage.
The penetration is mediocre on both AP & HEAT, aim time is very slow, accuracy is unimpressive, gun handling is poor, and reload time/DPM is very poor. What is truly impressive is the amount of damage that the tank can put out, given the right situations and opportunities to reload. The intra-clip reload is slow, but still significantly faster than any single-shot gun you will face.
Mobility
Raw stats:
-Forward speed is 30km/h.
-Reverse speed is -13km/h.
-Raw acceleration rate is 12.5 hp/t.
-Engine power is 1150hp for its 92 ton weight.
Hard terrain mobility:
-Actual acceleration is 12.5 hp/t.
-Traverse speed is 32.6 deg/s.
Medium terrain mobility:
-Actual acceleration is 9.6 hp/t.
-Traverse speed is 25.1 deg/s.
Terrain resistance stats:
–Terrain resistances are 1/1.3/1.8
Overall this mobility is decent, considering its superheavy armour and weight. The acceleration rate on both medium and hard terrain is decent, and generally its no issue to reach the top speed. Traverse on hard terrain is good, on medium terrain its a bit slow, but not terrible considering the armour of the tank.
Equipment Loadout
Calibrated Shells:
Due to low penetration on both standard and premium ammo, and not being a tank that’s DPM-focussed, Felice works better with calibrated shells. For this tank, getting the shell to deal full damage without bouncing or needing to use HEAT is more important than reloading quickly or improving the accuracy slightly.
Using calibrated shells would increase penetration on AP from 247mm to 267mm, on HEAT from 317mm to 358mm, and on HE from 67mm to 72mm.
Improved Assembly:
Enhanced armour doesn’t help this tank, as its main armour plates are already far stronger than even the highest penetration heavy tanks. For the most part, even tank destroyers using calibrated shells with premium ammo will struggle against the Felice’s turret front.
The lower plate and cupola are also not strong enough to be worth enhancing, so its just better to use improved assembly, which will increase your HP from 2650 to 2756.
Vertical Stabilizer/Refined Gun:
Due to having mediocre stats in all areas of accuracy (dispersion, aim time, and gun handling), either of these equipment choices can work.
Vertical stabilizer will help you get aimed in slightly quicker due to improving the dispersion when moving the tank (which you have to do quite a lot with the slow turret traverse and relatively sluggish mobility).
Refined gun makes the accuracy better at the cost of effective aim time, so the tank will feel like it aims in slower, but be overall more accurate due to a smaller aiming circle.
Gameplay advice
The Felice can be fairly flexible in its style of gameplay. It can play as a hulldown gun depression tank, a sidescrape/brawler in the town, as an autoloader, or as a single-shot tank.
General gameplay:
Due to being quite slow in terms of mobility, this tank will generally do best when fighting with and against other heavy tanks, so take it to the side of the map where you’ll face other HT.
Due to good turret armour and -8 gun depression, this tank works well when hulldown, especially as it helps make the cupola weakpoint harder for enemies to hit.
You can also sidescrape quite effectively, as the side armour is very strong, and the small “shoulder” weakpoint is quite small and still relatively strong. Sidescraping is the best way to use this tank’s armour in a town/city environment.
Try to use the gun to block shots into the cupola, the gun is worth 50mm of module armour, so it will be able to block most shots if put in front of the cupola.
Try to stay on hard terrain (roads, paved areas) as much as possible, it makes a big difference to the tank’s mobility, especially traverse speed.
Angling the armour:
The Felice is able to over-angle (angle past the 70-degree auto-ricochet angle) due to its very thick side armour. This doesn’t help it when the lower plate is exposed, but you can use it to bait shots into the tracks by turning the hull back and fourth.
Sidescraping also works well, though you do have to note that the cupola is penetrable to AP shells, and the area next to the gun and the hull “shoulder” are both penetrable to premium ammo.
The best angling tactic would be reverse-sidescraping, however its a very niche-use and situation dependent. Generally such situations would only occur if a faster tank flanks behind you, and you’re able to react by reversing into cover.

(Felice vs 340mm HEAT penetration)
Note reload times:
To reload fully after shooting 4 shells, it takes 44.4s.
For 3 shells, its 31.7s.
For 2 shells, its 20.8s.
For 1 shell, its 11.7s.
As for when to shoot and how many shells, its different for all situations. You can’t really know when enemies will push, or if they will play the entire battle by camping behind cover. In some situations, dumping 3 shells then reloading for the 32s will work. In other situations it may be best to just hold on to your shells and trade 1-for-1.
Trading damage:
With Felice having 440 alpha, trading damage is quite flexible. One thing to always keep note of is that almost every tank you face will reload faster than your highest DPM shell, even tanks with the same or more damage (anything from 400, 440, 460 alpha).
For tanks with less than 430 alpha, you could try to trade shot-for-shot (given that you’re allowed the time to fully reload), just use either a hulldown or sidescraping position as cover to allow you to fully reload that 11.7s. The advantage you have is that even if the enemy penetrates every shot, your damage is higher (likely your entire tank HP is also higher), you just have to not allow them to shoot you multiple times since your reload is slow.
For tanks with 440-600+ alpha, you can’t trade shot-for-shot, its better to try to dump 2 shells into the enemy, then pull back for a reload. Its not ideal since it takes 20s just to reload those 2 shells, but tanks with 440-460 alpha in tiers 9-10 have either the same or faster reload than your best DPM shell. To out-trade them, you would have to either rely on them bouncing, or just shoot 2 shells for their 1.
Use armour to buy time:
Felice is fairly similar to the Minotauro in the fact that its got a solid upper profile with a weaker lower plate, with both tanks having very low DPM for their respective tank class.
Aim shots well:
The reload time of a single shell on this tank is very slow, and despite having multiple shells to utilize, its still best to avoid taking chancy shots. The aim time is slow, accuracy is mediocre, and gun handling is poor, the best thing you can do to mitigate the accuracy is just to fight in close range with enemies, as your accuracy won’t be as noticeable.
If needing to aim a shot at further ranges, you’ll need to give lead on moving targets, and try to let the gun aim for as long as possible. Slow shell velocity means you’ll miss if not leading the reticle in front of moving tanks.
Overall
Armour – 7/10
Gun – 5/10
Mobility – 4/10
Speed – 3/10
Felice is overall a good tank.
Armour is overall solid, with very strong turret front and upper plate, and thick side armour. Cupola & lower plate are the main weakpoints.
Gun has poor aim time, shell velocity, accuracy, gun handling, very low DPM, slow reloads, and low penetration, but makes up with -8 gun depression, high alpha, and huge magazine capacity.
Mobility is decent, with average acceleration & traverse on hard terrain, decent acceleration but slow traverse on medium terrain. Reverse speed is decent, at -13km/h.
Speed is mediocre for a heavy, at 30km/h
Is it worth getting?
This tank is only worth getting if you enjoy the slow paced gameplay style that it has. Its not really a fun or enjoyable style of gameplay just due to it being a slow tank, having slow reloads, and even a slow rate of aiming. So unless its strong armour and big magazine make it worth getting for you, this tank isn’t a must-have.
The Felice is worth 20,000 gold. Its good tank, even if not necessarily a super engaging style of gameplay, and it does offer a very unique trait in that its the only superheavy style of vehicle with an auto-reloader gun.
