Armour when facing head on:
Upper plate 240-250mm
Lower plate 130mm
Turret 240-260mm
Side armour:
The side armour of this tank is 83mm with a 15mm spaced armour plate. The side armour is decent, and increased by the fact that the hull is angled inwards.

vs 255mm AP (top image), 325mm HEAT (bottom image)
Using -12 gun depression:
Upper plate 380-400mm
Turret 260-280mm
Armour vs all tier 9-10 tanks:
The GSOR’s armour performs roughly the same against all enemies. Its worth noting that the entire turret front is covered by 15mm spaced armour.
Strong areas:
-Most of the turret is able to bounce both standard and premium ammo (especially HEAT). The turret will perform worse against premium AP & APCR but generally bounce other ammo (unless hitting the small weakpoints around the gun).
Main weakpoints:
-The upper & lower plate are very weak on flat ground, and can’t be angled to bounce shots due to a pike nose shape. The lower plate is also an easy target for HESH shells.
-There are numerous weakpoints on the turret around the gun, but they are small and surrounded by strong armour. Generally enemies need very good accuracy or to get lucky to be able to hit these areas.
Gun
GSOR the TANK mounts a 105mm gun.
Firepower:
-Ammo: AP/HEAT/HESH.
-Penetration: 248/325/100mm.
-Alpha damage: 320/270/400
-Reload time: 5.6s
-DPM: 3434
Handling:
–Estimated aim time is 2.9/3.1s
–Base aim time is 1.91s, but it can get down to 1.39s.
-Dispersion is 0.317/0.269
–Gun handling is 0.15/0.17/0.1, or 0.13/0.15/0.09 with Vertical Stabilizer.
Usability:
-Shell velocities are 950/850/740 m/s.
-Gun depression is -12 degrees around the entire tank, except the rear where its -4 degrees.
Overall this is a great gun, its only real downside is the low alpha damage of 320. It has a very fast reload (1s faster than the next fastest reloading HT), good penetration, nice HESH shells, incredible aim time, accuracy, and dispersion combination, and the best gun depression in tier 10.
The feel of this gun is very much like a medium tank gun with its quick reload and great accuracy, and is overall very comfortable to use.
Mobility
Raw stats:
-Forward speed is 40km/h.
-Reverse speed is -20km/h.
-Raw acceleration rate is 18.9 hp/t.
-Engine power is 886hp for its 47 ton weight.
Hard terrain mobility:
-Actual acceleration is 18.9 hp/t.
-Traverse speed is 54.4 deg/s.
Medium terrain mobility:
-Actual acceleration is 14.6 hp/t.
-Traverse speed is 41.8 deg/s.
Terrain resistance stats:
–Terrain resistances are 1/1.3/1.5
Overall this is incredible mobility for a heavy tank. The top speed is quite limited considering that this is a “heavium” and has a weak hull, however its compensated for by having amazing acceleration rate and the best traverse speed of any HT in the game.
The tank is just very agile and is able to essentially always be maxing out its top speed due to its traverse and acceleration rates. It also has reverse speed which makes it feel more like a medium tank.
Equipment Loadout
Gun Rammer:
Due to being very much a DPM-focused heavy tank, using gun rammer is essentially mandatory on this tank. Its alpha damage is low, and the strength that this tank has to offset that is a fast reload and high DPM.
Penetration is already good, and lowering the reload would be a detriment to the playstyle of this tank.
(Also for the HESH, and 8mm increase from 100 -> 108mm doesn’t open any massive opportunities, as there aren’t many tier 10 tanks with a flat 100mm hull side/rear, which is where the main use of this 8mm increase would be.)
Gun rammer would improve reload time from 5.9s to 5.6s, and increase DPM from 3262 to 3434.
Improved Assembly/Enhanced Armour:
Enhanced armour would benefit the turret of this tank, mainly to make it more troll to penetrate for premium HEAT, AP, & APCR ammo. It essentially makes the small weakpoints around the gun even smaller and harder to hit.
Improved assembly can also work well, as the turret is already quite strong on most areas, and the extra HP can help for when you take hits on the weaker hull armour. Improved assembly would increase HP from 2400 to 2496.
Vertical Stabilizer/Refined Gun:
As the GSOR has great stats in all 3 areas of gun accuracy, either of these equipment choices can work well.
Vertical stabilizer works well due to the very mobile and quick-firing nature of this tank, as its essentially always moving/always aiming in.
Refined gun also works well as it allows for more accurate snapshots, and works well when you get full aimed when on a ridge using gun depression.
Gameplay advice
Overall gameplay of GSOR the TANK is quite typical for a heavium tank. It doesn’t work well when the hull is exposed, and is flexible for how it plays on each side of the map.
General gameplay:
This tank is very matchup dependent for deciding where to go on the map. As its a heavium, it will generally struggle to take on proper heavy tanks unless it can stay hulldown and use its armour.
Consider if what types of heavy tanks are on your team and the enemy team, and whether the HT side has gun depression areas for you to use. If your team is outnumbered in HT, or the HT flank is mostly flat ground/city with no opportunity to hulldown, its worth considering going with the MT.
GSOR the TANK can play on the MT flank as its fast, accurate, and has a very quick reload, it has no issue keeping up with the pace, and often can use its high HP and gun depression to win the MT side.
Go hulldown:
Generally in battle, focus on going hulldown, you don’t have to use gun depression for the turret armour to bounce shots, but you do have to hide the hull.
Using gun depression does help to decrease your size profile, thus making weakpoints harder to hit, as well as increasing armour effectiveness. Use gun depression where its possible, but don’t be overly focused on it, as the turret still works as long as the hull is hidden.
Trading damage:
The alpha damage of this tank is 320, which is much less than every other tier 10 heavy and even most tier 10 mediums. However, the reload of this tank is better than all heavy tanks, and most mediums.
With damage trading, if the enemy shoots you, try to shoot them back twice. Since you reload faster than all other HT, you are often able to do this 2-for-1 trade and get away with it, especially with such fast reverse speed and high gun depression.
Avoid letting enemies trade 1-for-1 as your low damage means the enemy will always come out with more HP and more damage dealt.
Don’t raise the gun:
For most HT with oscillating turrets, raising the gun often helps improve armour, but the GSOR’s armour doesn’t change much when doing this. In fact the armour just under the gun gets slightly weaker, as raising the gun causes the top and bottom halves of spaced armour on the turret to separate (basically reducing the spaced armour from 30mm -> 15mm, as they overlap).

Its better not to raise the gun, or raise and then lower it rapidly so that the armour is constantly changing.
It can make enemies miss if they were aiming for a weakpoint.
Use the HESH:
The HE ammo of this tank has 100mm of penetration, and does 400 damage. Its very usable against most lightly armoured MT & LT, such as Leopards or AMX 30s. It can also penetrate the sides of nearly every tank in tiers 9-10.
Use it where you can, as the extra 80 damage per shot just pushes the tank’s DPM up even further.
Overall
Armour – 5/10
Gun – 8/10
Mobility – 10/10
Speed – 5.5/10
GSOR the TANK is overall a great tank.
Armour is easy to use, the hull is very weak, but turret is fairly strong. Very usable with hulldown or gun depression.
Gun has great aim time, dispersion, gun handling, DPM, reload time, good HESH shells, and an incredible -12 gun depression. 320 alpha on a HT is the main downside.
Mobility is great, with high acceleration rate & the best traverse speed of any HT in the game. Great -20km/h reverse speed as well.
Speed is decent for a heavy, on the lower end for a heavium, with 40km/h.
Is it worth getting?
This tank is worth getting if you like heavium tanks. It just has the perfect traits in all aspects you would want on a heavium, and its only real downsides are low alpha and weak hull armour (which is a very small number of downsides).
The tank is comfortable and enjoyable due to being very mobile, accurate, and flexible with its gameplay. Its not very armoured, so you do need some positioning knowledge to make it work well.
The GSOR the TANK is worth 21,000 gold. Its a great tank, with quite a few unique traits added to an already great tank. Its a perfect blend of all typical heavium traits while also adding HESH and 12 gun depression to its array of advantages.
