Armour

(The Titan H-Nd in the images is using Enhanced Armour)

Drag slider Right –> to view 175mm AP
Drag slider <– Left to view 217mm APCR
Image on the left is when armour is un-activated, image on the right is when the armour is activated

Armour unnactivated (default):
Upper plate 210-220mm
Lower plate 115mm
Turret cheeks 190-260mm

Armour activated (after losing 50% HP):
Upper plate 210-220mm
Lower plate + spaced armour 180mm
Turret + spaced armour 305mm
(There are also 60mm plates that cover both the front and side of the track wheels)

Unlike the Titan-54d, the Titan H-Nd’s reactive armour is not activated by a consumable. After losing 50% of its HP (750HP or 795HP depending on equipment), the reactive armour is permanently activated until the tank is destroyed.

VS tier 6:
When armour is un-activated, all tier 6 tanks can easily penetrate the lower plate, even if its angled. The turret and upper plate are both very strong, and few tanks will be able to penetrate, even with premium ammunition.

When armour is activated, the lower plate becomes strong as well, and only quite high penetration tanks will be able to penetrate it (tanks with 180mm penetration, even more if angled)

VS tier 7:
Some tier 7 tanks can penetrate the upper plate with premium ammunition, but angling the armour will reduce the chances of this. Heavy tanks will also be able to penetrate the turret cheeks with a well aimed shot when the armour is un-activated. Lower plate is weak to everything.

When the armour is activated, tanks with under 180mm penetration will struggle to penetrate the lower plate, and tanks will higher penetration will also struggle if the hull is angled. The turret’s cheek weakness is also mostly covered by the spaced armour, and the turret now is very hard to penetrate. The upper plate remains the same.

VS tier 8:
Tier 8 tanks with 220mm+ penetration will be able to easily go through the upper plate of the Titan H-Nd, a lot of the times even if its angled. Its still better to angle though, as there’s still a better chance of bouncing. The turret cheeks are weak to all tier 8 enemies, regardless of their penetration, however due to the size of these weakpoints, the turret is still fairly strong.

When the armour is activated, the upper plate remains the same, but the turret will be even harder for enemies to hit the weakpoints of, as they are mostly covered by spaced armour. The lower plate can be penetrated by most enemy tanks, but some lower penetration MT and LT will still struggle against it. Basically don’t expect to bounce enemies if your lower plate is exposed and the hull is not angled.

Gun

The Titan H-Nd mounts a 10,5cm (105mm) gun

-Alpha damage is 310 on AP, 260 on APCR, and 380 on HE
-It has an 8.8s reload, giving it 2104 DPM
-Penetration on AP is 180mm, APCR is 250mm, and HE is 53mm.
Estimated aim time is 3.8/4.1s
-Dispersion is 0.398/0.359
Gun handling is 0.2/0.2/0.14, or 0.17/0.17/0.12 with Vertical Stabilizer.
-Gun depression is -7 degrees

Overall this is a decent gun. It has good DPM for its alpha, good aim time, decent gun handling, and great penetration. Its accuracy is poor, but still usable, and its gun depression isn’t impressive but is still decent. This gun is perfectly adequate for a tier 7 heavy, and does have some notable good points about it.

Mobility

-Top speed is 35km/h forwards, and -12km/h in reverse
-Traverse speed is 36 deg/s on hard terrain, and 28.3 deg/s on medium terrain.
-In game acceleration rate is shown as 10.8 hp/t, it has a weak 702 horsepower engine for its 65 ton weight.
-Actual acceleration rate is 9.9 hp/t on hard terrain, and 7.8 hp/t on medium terrain.
Terrain resistances are good, at 1.1/1.4/1.9

The Titan H-Nd is one of the least mobile tier 7 tanks due to its very weak acceleration rate. Its top speed and traverse speed are both actually pretty decent, but its the acceleration that holds it back.

Equipment, provisions, & consumables

The Titan H-Nd does not have any special provisions or consumables.

Provisions:
Provisions should be 10% food, 3% fuel, and 10% fuel. Due to the weak engine power the Titan H-Nd needs all the engine power possible to allow it to reach a decent level of mobility.
Taking that 3% fuel over the 3% food is definitely worth doing, as the area the tank struggles with is the mobility, and not the gun (which is mainly what the food provision will improve).

Consumables:
Your consumable loadout should be adrenaline, large repair kit, and engine power boost. Again due to its lack of engine power, the engine consumable will help this tank move around the battlefield much more comfortably.
You can drop this consumable if you really feel that your modules keep getting damaged and you need that extra repair kit.

Gun Rammer:
Due to the amazing premium penetration at 250mm on APCR, the Titan H-Nd really doesn’t struggle to penetrate anything it faces against. 250mm APCR is the highest base penetration of any tier 7 tank (not counting TDs), and it can easily penetrate most enemies.

Use the gun rammer to improve its DPM up to 2104. With an 8.8s reload for 310 alpha, its one of the better DPM heavies for its alpha damage.

Improved Assembly:
The reason to use improved assembly is that in some situations, enhanced armour will not help the tank.

1: Facing against tier 7 heavy tank premium rounds, they can penetrate the upper plate easily if its not angled. However, if you angle it, the majority of enemies will be unable to penetrate the upper plate with premium ammo.
2: The same situation, but against tier 8 heavy tank standard rounds. Facing flat on, they easily penetrate, however if you angle it up, most enemies struggle against the upper plate (of course with higher tier tanks don’t rely on the armour too much, but you should angle to increase the thickness)

In other situations though, enhanced armour will help the tank, such as against tier 6-7 tanks’ standard ammo. Against these tanks, using enhanced armour means that when the armour is activated, the lower plate and front track wheel will be very hard to penetrate (when angled its almost impossible for tanks with under 180mm penetration to go through).
So against same and lower tier tanks, enhanced armour is better, but against tier 8 tanks, there isn’t too much point as all tanks will easily penetrate the lower plate, if not the upper plate.

Both have benefits, its up to you which to choose.

Improved assembly will take the tank’s HP from 1500 up to 1590.
Enhanced armour adds about 8mm effective armour to the upper plate, and 7mm to the lower plate when activated (when un-activated the armour is irrelevant, every tank can penetrate).
It also adds an additional 2.4mm to every spaced armour plate on the tank (so all the moving armour will be 62.4mm thick)

Vertical Stabilizer:
As the Titan H-Nd is a heavy tank, and its often moving around in brawls and on the frontline, its better to use vertical stabilizer.

Gameplay advice

The Titan H-N is a frontline brawling heavy tank. It should be played on the heavy side, where its low mobility will be less of a drawback, and it can take advantage of the slower paced gameplay to block damage and use its gun.

Basically just play it like you would play a German heavy tank, as that’s what this tank is most similar to.

Don’t rely on that reactive armour mechanic too much, but its good to note what enemies will struggle against it when its activated.
As it only activates when you have 50% HP, by that point of the battle you generally should be playing more carefully, but if you know your enemy can’t penetrate, you can definitely take advantage of it.

Go hulldown:
When the armour of the Titan is un-activated, the weakest part is the lower plate and the turret cheeks.

However, when the armour is activated, the turret becomes the strongest part, and the upper/lower plates are significantly weaker. You should always try to use hulldown positions, as it forces enemies to take the time to aim carefully or risk bouncing their shot. This often gives you more time to aim/reload, and by being hulldown the chances of bouncing damage are just higher as there’s no enormous lower plate to aim for.

Angle armour:
This is essential, especially when the armour of the tank becomes activated. Due to having an angled upper plate, the Titan greatly benefits from turning its hull slightly to produce a greater effective thickness. Its less noticeable on the lower plate when the armour is not activated, however when the armour is activated, the lower plate also benefits from this angling.

Angling the hull can also sometimes bait enemies into shooting the spaced armour over the front tack wheel (when activated), which is very strong against all same tier and lower tier opponents.

Sidescrape:
The Titan H-Nd is able to sidescrape due to its hull/turret layout. The tank has the perfect gun placement and hull to use sidescaping tactics, and this is enhanced by the activated armour, which adds additional protection to the front track wheels.

Give time to aim:
Due to good aim time but poor dispersion, the Titan needs to stop to aim. For its alpha it has great aim time and decent handling, but very poor accuracy, so it has a very large aim circle.
Due to that quick aim time and decent handling, when the tank does stop to aim, it doesn’t have to aim for as long as most other 310 alpha HT.

Overall

Overall the Titan H-Nd is a decent tank. It has a decent gun, it has decent all-round armour, and great all-round armour when it gets activated, but its mobility is quite lacking.

The special armour mechanic that the tank has really isn’t that special, as other tanks which don’t have any special mechanic, have better armour than it. The Titan also doesn’t gain anything extra in exchange for its “un-activated” armour, so its just a very regular and un-interesting heavy, whether the armour is or is not activated.

Is it worth getting?

The Titan H-Nd is not worth getting. It is just a slow tier 7 heavy with a 105mm gun. Other than very high premium penetration and the dynamic armour feature, it offers nothing special.

Its very slow, its not the most fun or exciting tank, and also not a tank which you would use to boost your winrate. If you get the tank for free or for very cheap, nice. Its definitely not a bad tank, but its just the most worthy of buying.

The Titan H-Nd is worth 3,000 gold. Its not the most fun tank, but its also not a bad vehicle. The thing is, if you were going to get a tier 7 premium heavy with a 105mm gun, why choose this over a Nameless or M6A2E1? Even the tech tree T29 can offer the same kind of gameplay, while being a better tank as well.

Titan H-Nd’s camouflages are customizable, but it does not have any rare/legendary camouflages.

Titan H-Nd is a fictional heavy tank WG created for the Halloween event of 2021.

WG based its design on the Löwe, and seems to have modified its turret to be more like a Tiger I, and given it the muzzle brake of the M4A1 Rev.

As its based on the Löwe, the Titan H-Nd has equally poor mobility, but as its tier 7, it also has less armour.
